Its the second day for actor Rhea Chakraborty to get probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau who seemed to have come into the scene ever since the drugs angle came in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. It is her second day to see the agency. The agency has registered a separate case for the 28 year old actress. She was taken to the agency office with the Mumbai police personnel in the Ballard Estate area at 9:30am. The NCB seemed to have tracked down brother Showik along with Samuel Miranda earlier for questioning on the alleged drug racket.
The duo is facing charges under the anti-drug law by the NCB and was then sent to the agency’s custody till Wednesday. Although there were no drugs found at the residence of Showik Chakraborty as yet, he was picked up for a medical examination again today. The NCB has even found out that the two had links with drug peddlers Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora. The two were arrested but later given bail for the same.Â
The NCB in their statement claimed that they had proof against the drug syndicate, which led them to take a raid as carried out by the Mumbai Zonal Unit. They claimed to have seized the following amounts of drugs including 590 gm of Hashish, 0.64 gm of LSD sheets, 304 gms of marijuana carrying the imported marijuana joints and capsules. Besides, they also found INR 1,85,200 cash along with 5,000 Indonesian Rupiah. Now, we see Rhea facing the questioning for the second day as well. The NCB claimed that they have enough evidence against the lady to arrest her.
