The star cast include Priyanka Chopra in the leading lady’s role apart from Rajkummar Rao the leading man. The makers have introduced Adarsh Gaurav in the leading role giving him debut as the leading man in the film. The film is written and directed by Ramin Bahrani. Talking about the genre, the film happens to be a social satire and deals with a wide range of issues like class difference, money and power. The movie is based on a Novel by a US based author called Arvind Adiga. The novel has remained the best-selling novel in 2008 and has even bagged the prestigious award – the Bookers Award for the same.
