Tandav Controversy: Makers Now Claim to make the necessary Changes in the show

The controversy over the political drama show called Tandav seems to be taking a different turn now. Even when we saw the director of the show giving a lengthy apology note, nothing seems to be working for him. The ruling party MPs from the UP want the show banned and so the makers so that they cannot just make any show insulting their gods or religions. One of the MPs from UP said that sorry is not enough for the makers to get away from the controversy.

He said they have depicted a man Shiva in a bad light who is named after their god Mahadev. He talks about Azadi and thus has insulted the religion. Now, when the controversy reaches the next level we see some more fresh FIRs against the actor being filed by people in the Indian state of UP reiterating that the makers have insulted their gods and deities in their show. However, Ali Abbas Zafar the director of the show has issued an apology on behalf of his cast and crew.

Yet, people seem to be making it a big fiasco. Considering the row, the makers now have announced that they will edit the scenes that are creating problems along with changing the name of the character that resemble to Hindu deities. However, they have already claimed that nothing was intentional with their show and the resemblance between the two seems completely fictional.
