Breaking News: Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to Be Trimmed by 8 Minutes for Crisper Edit Ahead of Eid Clash with Maidaan
With just three days left until the highly anticipated Eid 2024 action thriller, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, hits the screens, the Indian Film Trade is buzzing with excitement. In a surprising twist, the makers have decided to change the release plan from a full-day release on April 10 to a half-day release. And now, the latest reports suggest that the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan team has also decided to re-edit the film.
According to our sources, this decision was made after a special screening held on Saturday night at Pooja Films Office. “The entire team loved the film but felt that there is room for a crisper cut to make it an ideal watch for the audience. The aim is to provide non-stop entertainment during the festive season of Eid, without any dull moments,” claim sources from the Btown portal Bollywood Hungama. The re-editing process is currently underway, and the film is expected to be re-censored on Monday. “Akshay Kumar, Vashnu Bhagnani, and Jackky Bhagnani are working closely with director Ali Abbas Zafar to create a tighter version of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The revised run-time of the film is expected to be around 2 hours and 35 minutes,” our source further revealed.
Advance bookings for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will open tomorrow for the Paid Previews on April 10, followed by a full-day release on April 11. The anticipation is building up, and fans can’t wait to experience this thrilling Eid offering on the big screen.
