Vikas Patil is an Indian actor who is more active in Marathi films and TV shows. He hails from Kolhapur, Maharashtra and was born on 24th September, 1982. He completed his schooling from MSS High School based in Pune, while headed to pursue his B Sc in Botany from the college Fergusson College, Pune. In his student life, he was inclined towards acting and remained active in college festivals and stage shows. He even participated in a number of competitions that led him to plan his career in acting.
He headed to Mumbai to pursue his dreams and with a bit of struggle got the chance to work in a Marathi TV show called Char Diwas Sasuche aired on ETV Marathi in 2009 and since then it was no looking back for the actor. Some of his popular TV shows include Lek Majhi Ladki, Asambhav, Kulvadhu, Antarpat, Mrs. Tendulkar, Maziya Mahera, Suvasini, Swapnanchya Palikadle and Arundhati.
He also did a couple of Marath movies that carved his niche hard in the M Town industry. These include Shentimental, Atrangi, Tuzhya Vin Marjava, Aajacha Diwas Majha, and Tukaram, Vacation to name a few. He is also active on stage doing a couple of plays like Hamidabaichi Kothi, Altun Paltun, Thodasa Logic Thodasa Magic. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Swati in 2010 and the couple has a son as well. He loves travelling, partying and dancing.
