rheWith Rhea Chakraborty arrested last week with her brother Showik, we now hear that their judicial remand date has been extended now. The duo was supposed to be in the remand till 23rd September and now the court has extended the date by 6th October. They were arrested on 8th September 2020 in connection with the drugs element. And now we see 18 people being arrested till now in connection with the drug angel in Sushant Singh Rajput death case.Â
As per reports, Rhea’s lawyer has now been seen knocking on the door of Bombay High Court for seeking the bail. The lower courts have rejected their bail plea and the hearing for the same is expected to be done on 23rd September. Thus the hearing is expected to take place tomorrow. It would be interesting to check how things would move in the coming few days but at the moment the date for their remand can be extended.Â
The NCB have arrested a few drug peddlers from the city on supplying drugs to several B Town celebs. The custody of Rhea seemed to be extended now to 6th October, as the NCB has a couple of things to decide. The agency has been questioning Saha for a few days. In other news, the NCB might also call the actors like Deepika Padukone in connection with the drug procurement in the Tinsel Town.
