After wrapping up for her film made on the former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa in the movie called Thalaivi, we now hear that the actress Kangana is getting another political leader. Yes, you guessed it right, she will play the former Indian PM late Mrs. Indira Gandhi in her political drama directed by Sai Kabir. Talking about the same, Kangana was seen saying that the biopic will cover all the key moments of the former PM including the issue of Operation Blue Star along with Emergency.Â
Talking about the same, a statement on this biopic has been issued by the lady who confirmed that she will be playing the said film as she is in talks with the makers reaching to the final stage. She informed that she has checked the script, while said that it is not a biopic but a film based on certain events that the film covers. She informed that it will be a big budget movie and to be precise, it happens to be a political drama, which will help the current generation to get a fair understanding of the socio political landscape of current India.
Indira Gandhi has remained the most iconic leader in Indian history and Kangana Ranaut is really looking forward to playing this role. She also shared that there are several actors that will be the part of the movie. They will be playing roles like Sanjay Gandhi, Morarji Desai, Rajeev Gandhi and Lala Bahadur Shashtri to name a few. The title of the film is yet to be announced.
