Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has announced on Saturday that his new film Maidaan will be released on the occasion of Dussehra next year. The film will hit theaters on 15 October 2020 next year. The film is being made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He has shared his authorized information on his social media account of Twitter. The film is being shot by ‘Badhai Ho’ fame director Amit Sharma. Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film will also feature Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Rudrani Ghosh.
Ajay Devgn tweeted, ‛Now Maidaan will be released worldwide in 2021 in Theaters on Dussehra. The shoot will begin in January 2021. Along with this, he has shared a poster of the film, in which he is seen in retro look. ‘The film has Ajay Devgn based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim. He was the coach and manager of the Indian football team in the years after independence.
It is worth noting that according to media information, some parts of the film Maidaan have been shot in Lucknow, Kolkata and Mumbai. Now its final schedule will shoot in January. According to the information given by the producer, the shooting of the film is now only 30 percent left. The makers plan to complete the film’s last schedule by April 2021.
