Here comes the big news, the most awaited movie 83 by Kabir Khan is all set to release in June. The makers have finally made up their minds to release the movie in the month of June. The movie based on the victory of Indian Cricket Team in the World Cup under the captain Kapil Dev in 1983 will be hitting the screens on 4th June. Ranveer Singh was quick to announce the same on his Instagram handle, let’s check what the actor has to say about the movie as under:

He also informed that the movie will not only release in Hindi, but other languages as well including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu in the theatres. The film was slated to release earlier in April 2020, however, the nationwide lockdown has prevented the makers to release the film on the said day.Â
Later, we had reports the makers are planned to release it on any of the leading streaming platforms as they were getting Rs 143 crore but then the makers – Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibashish Sarkar clarified on this saying that these are rumors and that they will only release the movie in theatres and not in any OTT platform. The movie has Ranveer Singh in the leading role of Kapil Dev, while it has actors like Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Sahil Khattar, Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare and many more. While Deepika Padukone plays the leading lady with a role of Romi Dev.
