Here comes the big news as the makers of the popular Amazon Prime web series Tandav enjoyed the most by the audience and we have been getting reviews for the same. With a gripping story and ensemble star cast, the makes have impressed one and all. However, amidst the praises and good reviews, we saw a hashtag – bantandav on Tandav. Soon we also saw a police complaint was filed against the makers of the web series as it did insult the Hindu gods.
There were also objections as to how a student called Shiva was involved in anti-national activities raising the Azaadi slogans. With all these things happening, we now see the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Mr. Prakash Javdekar coming into action who has now issued fresh summons against the makers for insulting Hindu gods and showing politicians in a bad light. In fact, Mr. Javdekar had once met the OTT officials a year ago and asked them to come out with some formulated rules regarding the unrestrained content on web series.
The ministry seems to have come up with a good response from Amazon Prime Video asking as to how they can justify the same against Saif Ali Khan starrer web series. The BJP MP – Manoj Kotak has also raised a strong objection against the OTT platform for the same. He even tweeted saying that how can insult the Hindu gods with any of their dialogues.
