Salman Khan Affirms His Career Never Plummeted: ‘It Wasn’t My Lows at Worst’

In a candid interview with India Today, Salman Khan reflected on the highs and lows of his illustrious 35-year career in the film industry. Despite his undeniable success, Khan acknowledged that his perceived ‘lows’ would be considered extraordinary achievements for the vast majority of the Indian population. He poignantly remarked that numerous individuals, far more talented, hardworking, and blessed with superior looks, have not attained the level of success he has.

Candidly addressing the perceived ‘lows’ in his career, Salman Khan stated, “When I embarked on my journey in the film industry, the lows you refer to were far from my peak achievements. I faced challenges and setbacks, but even if I hadn’t achieved success, I would have been content. There are countless individuals who possess far greater talent, work ethic, and physical attractiveness, yet they haven’t attained the level of recognition I have. Therefore, when you consider these perceived ‘lows’ of mine, they would be considered extraordinary accomplishments for the vast majority of the Indian population. Consequently, I don’t believe I’ve experienced any true lows in my career.”

Expressing his humility and gratitude, Salman Khan remarked, “I am incredibly fortunate for the blessings bestowed upon me by God, my family, and my loved ones. Each morning, I wake up, sip my coffee, and express my deepest gratitude for the gift of another day. I wholeheartedly acknowledge that I am immensely blessed and don’t believe I match Katrina’s level of dedication and hard work. Perhaps she truly deserves this immense success, while I may not be fully worthy of it.”

Salman Khan’s illustrious career spans over three decades, marked by both critical acclaim and commercial success. His debut as a supporting actor in Biwi Ho To Aisi in 1988 paved the way for his breakthrough role in the smash hit Maine Pyar Kiya the following year. Since then, he has consistently delivered box office hits, including Tiger 3, his latest action-packed thriller.
