Richa Chadha’s Madam Chief Minister release date in doldrums as it is getting backlash

As Richa Chadha gears up for her next web based film Madam Chief Minister, we see the makers promoting the show in the media. It seems to be going well but as the poster came, a section of the social media seemed objecting to the issue raised in the film, which is about casual casteism. The makers were able to get a good backlash over Savarna who happens to be an upper class woman playing the character of an unstoppable. 

Many on the microblogging site were seen expressing their outrage which seemed to have gone broom of being used a prop that remains the symbol of Dalit oppression along with the poster coming up as a stereotype in the community. As the show is getting too much of the backlash, the makers are in two minds of releasing the same. Talking about the same, Rich was seen issuing her statement as well where she said that the movie seems to be a learning experience for her and all and so was the case with promotion.

While talking about the same, she said as an actress she has got all the communication for posting the copy, hashtags and handles and thus her role for designing the promotion content will help her get the makers moving under the bus. She called the subject to be interesting and she simply loved it. She loved the dignity and courage the lady had in the show which she plays.
