Again we find the Indian film industry was left in shock and mourning when news broke that filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar had passed away at the age of 67. Sarkar, best known for directing web series like “Forbidden Love, Cold Lassi aur Grama ” and films like Laaga Chunari Me Daag’ (2007), ‘Lafangey Pandey’ (2010), ‘Mardaani’ (2014), ‘Helicopter Eela’ (2016), and co-edited the superhit Vidhu Vinod Chopra film ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ (2003). He has been,battling with kidney related ailment before his untimely demise.
Sarkar’s passing was met with an outpouring of grief and condolences from his colleagues and fans in the film industry. Many took to social media to express their sadness and pay tribute to the director, who was widely respected for his artistic vision and storytelling skills.
