It seems very heartening to hear that many films have been announced to release on the OTT platform. However, the makers were forced to do so considering the fear of pandemic still alive, yet few filmmakers have released the films in the theatres as well and we now get to see 15 films hitting the screens. The theatres are even allowed to run with 100 percent occupancy yet, they were not able to attract the audience in a big way.Â
Earlier, about the film Mumbai Saga a film based on underworld was planned to release on Amazon Prime but now we see the makers have planned something different for the release of film. Just when the makers were supposed to release on the said OTT platform, we now hear about releasing the movie in the theatres. However, the makers now have planned to release the movie later on the OTT platform once it hits the screens.Â
This week have seen a number of filmmakers announcing the release of their films including the ones produced by Reliance Entertainment along with others including 83 and Sooryavanshi in the coming few months. There seemed some flip flops over the release of the film on the OTT and theatres depending about the buzz of having COVID 19 impact on the society, which dictates the B Town filmmakers in a big way. Nevertheless we now see Mumbai Saga to be released in the theatres and then would get on Amazon Prime. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.Â
