It’s been six months ever since we saw the OTT release called Nishabdham starring R Madhavan. Now, we see the actor coming out with his next venture called Maara. While the former remains the thriller dealing with some supernatural element, the latter happens to be a romantic story. The web series showcase a romantic content with some light hearted narrative. The film has an interesting title with some mystery elements as well.
R Madhavan is playing that mysterious character and the makers have tried to create a good buzz around, which seems to be interesting at the moment. The leading lady of the film is Shraddha Sainath in the film is seen hunting her man with the help of a fable kind of journey when it comes to catching hold on him. This film remains an official remake of a Malayalam film called Charlie released earlier in 2015. It had actors like Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy in the leading roles, while this remains the Tamil adaptation which was earlier produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallasopara with Dhilip Kumar.
As the film promos came on the web along with the social media, it did create a good buzz around giving quality entertainment when compared to the heavy duty crimes, stories and the filling of the OTT medium today. This comes with a big relief. It is also seen with a good reception when it comes to giving the target audience ever since the OTT platform entered into regional movies so that it can help in getting a wider reach to the global audience. The film is going to be the maiden digital venture for the actor.
