Kanika Mann is an Indian television actress. She is best known for her role as Gauri in the television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has also appeared in other television series such as Sasural Simar Ka and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. Kanika was born on 7 October 1993, in Panipat, Haryana. She is the daughter of Rajesh Mann and Deepa Mann. She has two sisters, Kritika Mann and Nisha Mann. Kanika did her schooling from St. Francis de Sales School, Janakpuri and graduated from Delhi University.
Kanika made her acting debut in the television series Bhado Bahu in which she played the role of Simar’s sister, Roli. The show was a huge success and ran for six years. Kanika then went on to play the lead role of Gauri in the popular television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The show was a huge hit and made Kanika a household name. She has also appeared in other television series such as Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani and Jamai Raja.
Kanika is a very talented actress and has won several awards for her performances. In 2014, she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Fresh New Face (Female). In 2015, she won the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role (Popular). Kanika has also been nominated for several other awards such as the Star Parivaar Award for Best Jodi and the Zee Rishtey Award for Best Jodi.
