Jiya Shankar is an actor and TV star. She hails from Mumbai and was born on 10th October 1995. She was born and brought up in this place and completed her schooling and college in Mumbai. She completed her graduation and headed to become an actress. She wanted to be an actress since her childhood, however, she was an introvert that made her confused and remain a backbencher. When she was in college, she started giving auditions for films and TV shows just to gain confidence. 

She also got some smaller roles in a few TV shows and finally in 2013 she was noticed with the Telugu film called Entha Andanga Unnave. She got the chance to work in different South Indian films since then it was no looking back for the diva. She bagged the role in the show Queens Hain Hum before entering into the small screen industry. She also got the chance to work in TV shows like Meri Hanikarak Biwi and Pyaar Marriage Shhhh to name a few. While in the TV show Kaatelal & Sons, she was seen in the lead role.

She was also seen in the leading roles in the show like the &TV Serial called Meri Hanikarak Biwi where she played the character of a Doctor Ira Desai. While some of her recent shows include Love By Chance, Gumrah Season 4, Laal Ishq, etc. She also was seen in short films like Rajma along with Sucheta Khanna and Zebby Singh were seen with her. She was also seen in a web series called Virgin Bhasskar 2 streamed on ZEE5. Talking about her personal life, she is single and dating anyone. She loves Listening to Music, Shopping and Singing.
