Delhi Crime Bags International Emmy Awards, 1st Indian Show to Get this Recognition

Finally big news from the makers of the series called Delhi Crime as it managed to win the Best Drama Series award at the prestigious award – 48th International Emmy Awards. The award function was virtually arranged this year amidst the ongoing Covid pandemic. With this, the show is the first Indian series to bag this recognition at the International Emmy. The news came straight from the official social media handle of International Emmy Awards on the microblogging site called Twitter.

The Nextflix based show managed to steal the show at the International Award platform, while it is produced by Golden Karavan and the seven episode based series was written and directed by Vartika Chaturvedi which talks about the story of a gang rape case of 2012. The leading lady of the show was none other than Shefali Shah the Delhi Police ACP who handles this case to bring out things in flying colors. 

The moment the series bagged the title in the Drama Series category, Shefali was seen enjoying the news with her cool remark on her Instagram handle, have a look at the same:
