After Tejas, Kangana Ranaut has two consecutive disasters, five consecutive flops

Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspoken personality, has made a mark in the Indian film industry over the years. However, her recent film, Tejas, which released last week, has disappointed both the actress and her fans. Despite promotions and a novel concept, Tejas has performed poorly at the box office. In this special report, we compare Tejas’s performance to Ranaut’s previous release, and find that Tejas has become a record-setter for the actress, albeit on the negative side.

The staggering underperformance of Kangana Ranaut’s latest film, Tejas, which has grossed a measly Rs. 3.76 crore over the first 5 days, has made it her second consecutive disaster after Dhaakad. Tejas is also her fifth consecutive flop, following Dhaakad, Thalaivii, Panga, and Judgementall Hai Kya. In fact, 9 of her last 10 releases have been flops, including Simran, Rangoon, Katti Batti, and I Love NY.

Making matters worse, Kangana Ranaut’s average opening day collection for her last 10 releases is Rs. 3.33 crore, compared to just Rs. 69 lakhs for her last 3 releases. Her average lifetime collections are also dismal, at Rs. 22.61 crore for her last 10 releases and Rs. 2.68 crore for her last 3 releases.

Despite her recent flops, Kangana Ranaut can still revive her career. She will need to diversify her roles, dial down the controversies, collaborate with established filmmakers, and understand and adapt to industry trends.

Kangana Ranaut’s recent string of flops is undoubtedly concerning. However, it is important to remember that she is a talented and determined actress who can bounce back. The film industry is unpredictable, and even the most successful actors face challenges in their careers. By making strategic choices, diversifying her roles, and focusing on her craft, Kangana Ranaut can rewrite her career narrative and find her way back to the top. Ultimately, it is an artist’s resilience and determination that define their journey in the world of cinema.
