Aashram season 2: How Prakash Jha responded to Karni Sena’s Objection on Second Season

The fringe group Karni Sena first came to limelight when they opened up their fight against Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his film Padmaavat. Their objection was that the film has shown the lady in the bad light thus insulting their culture and creed which have existed for centuries. Now, the outfit is back in the news and this time for going against the second season of the web series Aashram of Prakash Jha. They went on to send a legal notice to the filmmaker.

They objected in the legal notice saying that Prakash Jha has shown Godman on the bad note featuring in the bad light. As per reports, the Karni Sena claims that Prakash Jha with his popular web series has insulted the spiritual gurus found in the religion. Thus the phony character of Bobby Deol playing a fraud baba is objectionable. Hence he should stop steaming the show on the decided date. To this the filmmaker responded.

As per Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker said that he is not the one to decide the show to be banned as it had more than 400 million views for the first part on the OTT platform and same is expected from the coming second season as well. He ended up saying that the audience are the only people who would be deciding upon the same. The web series is all set to release this month.
